Enterasys networking certification program has everything you need to super-charge your skill set, allowing you to maximize your network performance and improve your network's ability to meet your business needs. Enterasys offer a number of methods to receive training - from instructor-led, to web-based courses, to innovative Remote Access Lab (RAL). You will learn the skills to successfully deploy and manage Enterasys products in your environment.
Enterasys also offer a number of certification levels, so you can choose how much training you require. In addition, allows you to "test out" on those technologies you already know. Click on the Certification Levels below to decide what certification program best suits your needs!
Enterasys provides five designations across two or three levels and offers certifications based on Products and Technologies and on Secure Networks solutions.

Enterasys Certified Internetwork Engineer |
Goals and Competencies: This is the highest level of certification within the Enterasys Networks Certification Program. The Enterasys Certified Internetworking Engineer (ECIE) certification program is designed to certify networking professionals in all Enterasys-specific offerings. Upon completion of this certificate, an individual will have the ability to position all Enterasys products in support of customers' business requirements. ECIE certification is valid for 2 years |

Enterasys Security Systems Engineer |
Goals and Competencies: The Enterasys Security Systems Engineer certification program is designed to certify networking professionals in Enterasys-specific security products. Upon completion of this certificate, an individual will have the knowledge to implement Enterasys Networks product capabilities in support of Secure Networks ESSE certification is valid for 2 years |

Enterasys Systems Engineer |
Goals and Competencies: The Enterasys Systems Engineer certification program is designed to certify networking professionals in Enterasys-specific products. Upon completion of this certificate, an individual will have the ability to implement, operate, configure, and support solutions and networks that are using Enterasys networking products ESE certification is valid for 2 years |

Re-certification Policy:
The ESE and the ESSE Recertification Exams were developed to ensure that your certifications remain meaningful and relevant to the Enterasys business model and that these certifications maintain their value in the marketplace.
Below are the guidelines for the Enterasys ESE and ESSE recertification process:
- You may take the recertification exam only if you hold a valid ESE or ESSE Certification.
- Without timely renewal, individual career certifications expire or become inactive.
- The exam is intended for those whose ESE or ESSE certification is within 3-6 months of expiration. After 24 months, all ESE and ESSE certifications will expire and the individual will be decertified. Once decertified, it will be necessary to go through the ESE and ESSE programs, in full, to become ESE or ESSE certified again.
- The recertification exam consists of a certain number of random questions from current course material.
- Should you fail the exam, we highly recommended you attend the class for the area of the exam which you failed.
- Training and/or exam vouchers ARE NOT valid for the recertification exam.
- The exam can only be purchased directly through Prometric.
- Contact Prometric for recertification exam numbers.
The recertification exam will be updated every 12-18 months with inclusion of questions from the latest course material.
